Vivian Maier, the video

From one of my earlier postings, about the lost and found street photographer vivian maier here is a video about the man who found her work and glimpse into who she was.

Vivian Maier – Her Discovered Work

The work of one Vivian Maier is running rampant across the world wide web, causing me to feel the urgent need to become aquainted with her work myself.

She was a street photographer located in NY and Chicago between the 1960’s and the 1990’s. The purchaser of her work, a guy named John Maloof ended up purchasing around 100,000 negatives of her work — 20,000 of which were still in undeveloped rolls.  An amazing and exciting process has begun, and John is documenting it thought this blog. Some interesting and inspirational stuff.
