Michael Cogliantry and Semi-Automatic Video Production

Video is cool right now, especially if you’re a photographer. But for those of us who are still stumbling with HDSLR’s and final cut pro, it’s a challenging new occupation. However, Nemo friend Michael Cogliantry (who we’ve chatted about many times before) has the skills to make it all look easy, with hilarity/absurdity to boot. After winning numerous awards for both photo and video, Michael and good friend Greg Carter have formed Semi-Automatic, a dynamic writing and filmmaking team devoted to making some of the most creative videos I’ve seen. Michael’s knowledge of Portland and it’s world-renowned “quirky” ways shine through in his short films- watch Semi-Automatic’s quick reel below, and also be sure to check out Michael’s humorously brilliant photo portfolio.
