High Cascade Photo Camper Nominated For Photog of the Year!!!

Thats right, HCSC’s very own russian photo camper Kolya Tsarev has been nominated for Russian Snowboard Awards as a “photographer of the year”!

Congratulations Kolya, keep it up!
Were so proud!

Give us your best shot and win a free session at the 2010 High Cascade Photo Workshop! Submit your snowboard photos: action, lifestyle, or environment shots accepted. Submission requirements: One organized PDF with a cover page that includes photographer name, phone number, email; all photos should be medium sized, clearly labeled JPGs. Email portfolios to karir@nemohq.com.

Portfolios will be judged by Andy Wright, Christy Chaloux, Tim Zimmerman, and Trevor Graves – some of the most skilled veterans of snowboard photography. Submission dates are June 21, 2010 through July 2, 2010. All winners will be announced on July 9, 2010. The top three runner-ups will receive $100 off of their 2010 High Cascade Photo Workshop.

PocketWizard at High Cascade

 

PocketWizard put up a cool blog post about the HCSC Photo Camp. Check it out here

This year PocketWizard teamed up with the camp and StudioNemo to hold the first ever PocketWizard/High Cascades Photo Competition where students submitted their best shot from the weeks photo sessions. The top two images won a pair of PocketWizards.

The Bachelorette…the reality of reality TV

So this morning I was sent this image with the tag line “remember this guy?”

Since I don’t really watch TV I was pretty confused. But he looked really familiar so I did my homework and now I’ve got it….

his name is Jesse Csincsak and he has been working hard killing it for the High Cascade photo camp for the past two years. I’m not sure if him winning the bachelorette deserves a firm “Congratulations” or a “Really?! You actually signed up for that shit!”

Either way he deserves a pat on the back for tearing up the half pipe every year.
